We are very proud to share with you our Investment to expand Productivity within Spaceguard. This huge opportunity for Investment to expand Productivity in Spaceguard has enabled us to purchase a Vertical WallSaw and EdgeBander.
The Vertical Wall Saw is a fantastic piece of machinery. Allowing us to compact our productivity into a space-conserving area of our factory, coupled with the Edgebander in order to massively improve our productivity.
EdgeBanders are perfect for smoothing down rough edges and the perfect solution to harsh and unsightly rough edges. In effect transforms the melamine worktops to a much better quality.
As a result of purchasing these new machines, we are now able to purchase bulk packs of melamine worktops thus reducing costs and lead times.
This is an amazing opportunity for us and our customers and we are soo proud of Spaceguard for the continuation of investment within the company.
With help from Hull and East Yorkshire Local Enterprise Partnership, we have secured funding to invest in new machinery that will allow us to bring productivity in house, thus reducing lead times and reducing external costs.

As can be seen below the investment requires a huge move around within the factory. In the first place, Spaceguard prepared to clear the area and prep for the delivery and installation of the new machines.
As a result, the installation required 2 days and precision installation from JMJ Woodworking.
